  • She studied at the Corporación Universitaria Lasallista as a food engineer in 1997. In 1999 she took a diploma in food science and technology at the National University. In 2002 she did a specialization in Organizational Prospective at the ESUMER Educational Foundation and in 2012 she did a diploma in Technological Commercialization in Austin, Texas-RutaN. A year before, she started her master's degree at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Technology Management, concluding in 2013. Recently, in 2017, she completed a diploma in Incubator and Accelerator Management at the University of Salamanca.

  • She is a sector expert in innovation, entrepreneurship, bioeconomics and biobusiness acceleration with more than 20 years of applied experience in the agricultural, food, cosmetics, natural ingredients and biotechnology sectors.

  • She has been manager and director of programs at a Food Technology Development Center for 4 years, at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce for 7 years and at Biointropic for 8 years, a management that has benefited more than 300 companies related to these sectors.

  • She coordinated the Bioeconomy Study for Colombia (2018) and led the first Biotechnology Fair in the country (2016).
